What Yard stores

• Your company name, your team's names, and your company's join code and passcode.
• What you type into Yard: reservations, customer names and phone numbers, service requests, quotes, rates, notes, and missed-rent entries.
• Photos you upload (delivery, pickup, and insurance certificates).
• Requests your customers send through your public storefront page (name, phone, email, item, date, notes).
• Basic usage events inside the app (for example, which tab was opened), tied to your company, so we can see what's working and fix what isn't.

What Yard does not do

• We don't sell your data or your customers' data, and we don't show ads.
• Each company's data is kept separate. Other companies can't see it.
• There are no third-party analytics or ad trackers. The app loads fonts from Google Fonts and map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which see your IP address like any website you visit.
• For the Sites tab, Yard's servers look up public construction-permit records from city and state open-data sites (City of Austin, City of Fort Worth, and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation). Only the search area and dates are sent to those sites, never your company's data.

Where it lives

Yard runs on Cloudflare. Your data is stored in Cloudflare's database and storage services.

Your control

You can edit or delete your records in the app at any time. To delete your whole company and everything in it, ask us and we'll remove it.
